EINSTEIN ELECTRONIC MAIL IS NOW CONNECTIVEMAIL;
Name change reflects product's connectivity facilities
Devont Software, Inc. (Conroe, TX) has released a new version of its economical MHS
electronic mail software, ConnectivEmail, which also features phone messaging, chat, address
books, notepads, in/out board, personal and group calendars, scheduling, peer-to-peer
communications facilities, network utilities and more. ConnectivEmail is available for $199 (5
user version; all prices suggested US resale per server at participating resellers; $399 for 10
users; $599 for 20 users; $799.00 for 50 users and $999.00 for 100 users).
"Our new name more reflects the connectivity approach we're taking with
ConnectivEmail." says Development VP Jim Tyson. "We've taken Einstein's desktop
productivity focus and added customer-requested connectivity items such as Global MHS
Addressing and other SMF-71 specific facilities. There are more facilities for reaching remote
mail addresses, and we've taken advantage of Novell's Global MHS to handle things like
directory synchronization and long addressing. In a nutshell, ConnectivEmail is Einstein on
steroids."
Devont is upgrading existing Einstein customers now. Shipping for new customers
begins February 7, 1994. Please contact Devont Software Inc. to arrange for press copies. For
